Karen’s experience includes Insurance Defense, Medical, Psychology and Psychiatric Malpractice, Hospital Liability, Products Liability, and General Liability defense. Karen’s practice also focuses on post-trial and appellate matters. Karen has been involved in several complex trials in the role of identifying and developing the important legal issues through pre-trial motions, trial briefs, oral argument, and interlocutory appeals. Her appellate practice carries through to the critical post-trial and appellate stages where she draws upon creative legal analysis and her nuanced understanding of the appellate rules. She has litigated cases in the Pennsylvania Superior and Commonwealth Courts, the New Jersey Appellate Courts and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Karen is also skilled in dispute resolution.
